By Rail
Most trains leave Victoria Station (London) for East Malling hourly. The journey takes approximately one hour to East Malling Station.
The walk from the railway station to the Laboratories takes approximately 15 minutes. Go down the hill to the crossroads; turn right and take the footpath past the church.
Trains normally leave Maidstone for East Malling hourly.
By Road
Leave the M20 at Junction 4 (A228), turning south (signposted West Malling and Tonbridge). At the next set of traffic lights, turn left towards Maidstone on the A20. At the second set of traffic lights (opposite B&Q) turn right to East Malling village. On reaching the village, the drive leading to the Laboratories is signposted on the left. N.B. Please note that for Security and Safety reasons the main gates remain locked between the hours of 7:00pm and 9:00am.
Once inside the gates, please follow the signs to the Visitors Car Park and Reception. On arrival in the main laboratory area, all Visitors please report to Reception.
