DataMine Administrator is a powerful Data Management tool. Irrespective of which data retrieval system you plan to use, the WebDataView DataMine Administrator can once and for all put your Data Management problems on the right path to being fully resolved.
Design criteria hierarchies that suit your data, your organisation and your way of handling data. This blueprint will form the foundation of your data silo’s logical structure and can evolve as you evolve or as your data organisation ideas mature. Your DataMine will be populated by linking each file with one or more leaf-nodes in each criterion tree.
That’s it – your custom-designed and populated DataMine database becomes the cornerstone of your electronic data management process because it inherently mirrors how your organisation wants to categorise its data files.
DataMine can immediately be used by the WebDataView DataMine Browser module (see below) and/or it can be used by your own or third-party downstream tools for further handling.
This is done while giving the user the widest possible picture of the refining process so that they are not swamped by vast numbers of “hits” while they still have the opportunity to see any “adjacent turnings” that can be made on the road to the search objective.
Individual criteria can be set at very different refine levels, so, for example, a list can be quickly provided of all reports written by John Smith in 2003 for the whole of Asia or conversely all data created at any time, but stored in the London warehouse, that is relevant to Balikpapan, Indonesia.
The DataMine Browser has an intuitive, user-friendly tree or banner interface with a very fast response time. As well as allowing the viewing of compatible files with WebDataView, DataMine can be tailored to integrate with third-party downstream data management software.

(2) Web-based DataMine Browser.
DataMine Browser allows any user to refine a search for particular types of document and/or data files listed in a DataMine database.
With a simple and intuitive series of steps the user can rapidly and intelligently “home in” on desired information.
