PDF files
Virtually any document can be converted to PDF. Organisations generate PDF files for convenience and storage. The World Wide Web is littered with PDF files. There is even a free reader available for download.
But there is a problem with PDF files!
The problem is that they have to be downloaded to your computer BEFORE you can see / read them. To prove this to watch what happens when you click on a PDF file on the web. The first thing that happens is that your local copy of Acrobat Reader opens before you can see the file.
You ARE downloading a copy of this file to your local computer. Is this efficient? Some PDF files are huge, do you really want to wait while they download? Even worse, do you really want to continue emailing PDF files around the world? Who deletes files from their computers and servers?
There is a better way - use WebDataView.
With WebDataView you do not have to download anything before you can see it!
